Searching for an investigation

There are two ways to locate investigations. The first is through the ‘investigations’ drop down menu, the second is through the ‘Resources’ drop down menu, both of which are located in the Top Menu Bar. First, lets navigate through the ‘investigations’ drop down menu.

1. On the Welcome page, go to the Top Menu Bar, click the ‘investigations’ drop down menu and select ‘Browse investigations’.

2. On the Resource Browser page, select an item by title (or thumbnail) from the list of available investigations to open its Detail Page.

Next, lets navigate through the ‘Resource’ drop down menu.

3. On the Welcome page, go to the Top Menu Bar, click the ‘Resources’ drop down menu and select ‘Browse Resources’.

4. On the Resource Browser page, click the investigation Resource Type button and a list of available visualizations will appear.

The Resource Browser page has a keyword search box which allows the user to search based on a topic of interest. Additionally, above the keyword search box is a pulldown menu which allows the user to limit the search to resources created only by the user, or view all resources publically available.
