Copy an Existing Visualization

  1. On the Welcome page, go to the Top Menu Bar, click the ‘Visualizations’ drop down menu and select ‘Browse Visualizations’.
  2. On the Resource Browser page, select an item by clicking the title (or thumbnail) from the list of available visualizations to open its Detail Page.
  3. Click on the ‘Copy’ Action Button above the visualization to create a new instance, which you can edit and save.
  4. After clicking ‘Copy’, you will be presented with a new view with tabs across the top that allow you to augment the view (‘configure’), ‘Preview’ the changes, and ‘Save’ a new instance of the visualization. In this example in the ‘Configure’ view, the start and end dates were changed.
  5. Next click the ‘Preview’ tab and note the start and end dates have changed.
  6. Finally click the ‘Save’ tab. Enter a new title, visualization description, and then click the blue ‘Save’ button at the bottom to save a new copy to the resource database.
